GS Custom has offered quality gunsmith services to Florida hunters, competitors, and sports shooters for over 35 years.

Much like the car in your garage, your firearms need maintenance and routine service to work reliably and accurately. Preventative maintenance such as proper lubrication, spring replacement, and the regular inspection of wear areas can prevent costly repairs later on. Our gunsmith is intimately familiar with the operating mechanics of your prized firearms and knows what it takes to keep them at peak performance. From a basic field strip and bench cleaning to a detailed armorer level disassembly, ultrasonic deep cleaning, and inspection of each part, we have the proper equipment and knowledge to professionally clean your firearm and have it back to you quickly. As an added service, we can also offer personal tutorials for those who would like to learn how to correctly disassemble, clean, lubricate, and reassemble their firearms.

If you’re having trouble with your firearm or if something about it “just doesn’t seem right,” bring it in for an inspection and evaluation. Our gunsmith will consult with you directly, tell you exactly what is wrong, and how much it will cost to repair it. If we start with work on your gun and find another issue, we will talk with you before performing any further work. Don’t leave your guns languishing in the back of your safe because they have a bad scope, missing parts, or need a minor repair. Even if you just took your firearm apart, and it won’t go back together, GS Custom will help you get your guns back up and able to shoot again.

There is a minimum shop charge of $40. We will give you a free estimate for parts and labor before we start the work.

Update From The Bench

We have a basic goal of completing all gunsmith services as soon as possible, including working overtime at no charge to clear the backlog if necessary. We understand and appreciate how important firearm repairs, installations, and cleaning are. If you need a firearm repaired, modified, or sights and other accessories installed, the current turnaround time is 1 to 2 days. Bringing in the proper parts for your project – sights, scope mounts, etc. will speed up the process and the return of your upgraded firearm. If we have to order parts, that will extend the time in the shop.
