Training to Shoot Safety, Accurately, and Proficiently

Firearms training has two primary purposes, firearms safety, and skill development. Gary Skiba, our NRA Certified Instructor, will focus on those two training objectives with you.

GS Custom has classes scheduled for a person, family groups, and public sessions. Your tuition includes ammunition, targets, and range time. Your instructor will help you to develop your firearms skills in a proven safe step-by-step program.

Learning Gun Safety . . .

At GS Custom, NRA certified instruction is available for all ages and skill levels. The photo shows one of our younger and enthusiastic trainees receiving individual instruction at one of the ranges we use in the Tampa Bay area. This particular range is Shooters World in Tampa.

No matter what age, it is never too early to learn gun safety and proper shooting technique. Mom, a former student, took the photo and wanted to make sure that everyone in the home knew the rules for firearms safety. Gary is a thorough and patient instructor who can guide you through the training you need as a safe, confident, and proficient shooter.

Corporate Initiative – Update . . .

In addition to our regular classes, we also teach corporate-sponsored self-defense classes. A local corporation chose GS Custom to offer its associates the opportunity to master basic firearms skills through our NRA Certified program. The students were very enthusiastic as they completed the required classroom and range portions of the course. The student evaluations were extremely positive and they indicated that they would be signing up for the next level of training while waiting for their Concealed Carry Weapons License to arrive from the state.

Basic Pistol Training

Our goal is that at the end of the training you will be able to safely handle a firearm and feel comfortable that you will be able to continue building your skill level with proper practice at the range. After completing the course, we will issue a certificate verifying your completion, which the state requires for you to get a Florida Concealed Weapon or Firearm License.
