Unfortunately, as mentioned above, the huge amount of flood-damaged guns we are working on has caused a short pause in ammunition manufacture. We expect to be back in full production quickly.

Thanksgiving Holiday Schedule
GS Custom will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, 11/28/24, through Sunday, 12/01/24, and reopen on Monday, 12/02/24. We will be enjoying the long holiday weekend with family and friends, and hopefully, you will be as well. Please take time over the holiday to reflect on the people, events, and things you are thankful for.
Flood Damaged Firearms
We have been inundated with firearms flood damaged by the two hurricanes that have caused such devastating damage around the Tampa Bay area. Gary is on a mission to save hundreds of hand and long guns our customers continue to bring us. Unfortunately, this critical process has paused our ammunition production schedule. We will resume production as soon as possible.
The rehabilitation process for each firearm involves removing all the rust possible, ultrasonic cleaning and lubrication, and performing a detailed inspection to ensure proper operating functionality. Do not ever attempt to use damaged firearms, as your life can depend on it. Protect your investment in firearms. Call Gary at (727) 541-2200 if you have damaged firearms. The fee for performing the rehabilitation process is $40.
NOTE: We are officially in our new smaller shop. We are in Unit #118 in the same building, just around the corner to the right from our previous location facing 66th Street. The same great ammo and services that we have always provided.

Ammo Availability And Pricing
Anyone who has been involved in shooting sports in any capacity is painfully aware of the shortages of ammunition and the components for manufacturing ammunition. Of course, with shortages come price increases. Due to supply issues and unfulfilled backorders, we currently have no ammunition available.
Our suppliers are telling us they have no idea when components will be available in reliable quantities. Primers are the component in the shortest supply. It has gotten to the point that when we call for an update, all they can do is laugh. They are also telling us to expect price increases on all items.
We will continue to push to get supplies in as soon as possible, and will also strive to keep whatever price increases as low as possible. In the meantime, it is a perfect time to bring in your firearms for an upgrade or repair, (new sites, optics, trigger job, etc). Make sure your firearms are in perfect condition and ready to go into action when you are. Get your handguns and long guns completely disassembled, ultrasonically cleaned, and inspected for wear and potential problems.
Gunsmith Services
Since the time of our founders, gun owners have known the importance of keeping their firearms in good repair and operational readiness. GS Custom can clean, inspect, and repair your firearm. Of course, we can also install and fit accessories such sights, lasers, stocks, threaded barrels, and improved triggers. There is a minimum shop charge of $40. Please contact us now as gunsmith requests increase as we go into the fall and winter seasons.

GS Custom’s Expanded Product Catalog
GS Custom has expanded its product catalog to include Factory New Ammunition as well as harder-to-find items such as 38 Super, 41 Magnum, and 45 GAP. We construct all our products with the highest grade components to the same Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers’ Institute (SAAMI) standards followed by all premium ammunition manufacturers. We are producing a full line of premium remanufactured ammunition in all major pistol and rifle calibers in both FMJ and JHP. We also manufacture custom loads to our customer’s exact specifications.
